Hazrat Inayat Khan was initiated in the lineage (Silsila) of the Chisty Order in India by his Murshid, Sayyid Abu Hashim Madani. The Chisti transmission combines the Chisti, Qadri, Suhrawardi and Nasqbandi lineages together in one.
The section "Supports of the Order" refers to Sufi's recognised and honored as having a significant spiritual influence upon the Community.
